Kamp physicians can volunteer for a 1 or 2-Week term, as the State of Missouri allows a licensed out-of-state physician to volunteer for up to two weeks without obtaining a Missouri medical license. Kanakuk provides medical malpractice coverage for the health services staff during each scheduled term. Each day, the Kamp Physician is on call for emergent situations while also providing Kamper care during morning and evening clinic sessions.

Kamp is more fun with friends, so we encourage physicians to bring their spouses and children to Kamp to enjoy the amenities and programs offered as a family. You’ll make lifelong memories as you fly down the zipline, race down waterslides, and enjoy the beauty of The Ozarks while kayaking on the lakes surrounding our Kamps.

 All meals are provided. Fully furnished, air-conditioned housing conveniently located on Kamp property is provided for your term, along with a golf cart to aid in transportation on Kamp property. Our physician cabins have bed linens, bath towels, a microwave, mini refrigerator, and Keurig.
