POSITIONS
Counselors
Invest in the lives of kids by instructing activities, coaching sports, creating fun memories, and teaching spiritual truths 24 hours a day.
Dining Hall / Kitchie
Be a part of our awesome Dining Hall program as you provide food prep and service for Kampers while being discipled in a tight community of friends. (Female)
Cooks
You will participate in and oversee meal preparation. Kampers and staff love the food at Kamp and need the healthy meals you’ll provide.
Office
Be the friendly face and voice of Kamp as you answer phone calls, respond to e-mails, organize paperwork, and interact with all who come through our gates. (Female)
Maintenance
Live and fellowship with a team of guys while you set up parties, mow, clean and make our facilities safe and beautiful. (Male)
K-Kids / Nursery
Be a blessing to the whole family as you serve and care for our youngest Kampers (Infant – Pre-School) in the K-Kauai Nursery. (Female)
Photo / Video
Capture the memories and smiles behind the lens as you shoot, edit, and produce photos/videos for Kampers and parents to remember forever.
Specialty Staff
Join a limited number of staff who have experience in high ropes, rappelling, camping, canoeing, boat driving, lifeguarding, or water skiing.
Counselor In Training
High school graduates will help assist staff and learn what it means to serve in camp ministry while being mentored and discipled.
INTERNSHIPS
Leadership and Youth Ministry
If you’re pursuing a Leadership, Youth Ministry, or Christian Ministries degree, Kanakuk provides daily opportunities to teach, equip, and encourage Kampers ages 6-18. A summer at Kamp will immerse you in a vocational ministry setting full of nonstop fun and opportunity to impact the next generation.
Child Development / Education
Future Educators – This one’s for you! With Kampers representing ages 0-18 across our family of Kamp experiences, an internship experience at Kanakuk will provide endless opportunities to build knowledge and experience with skills you’ll use daily in the classroom setting.
Office Administration
Our Kamp offices are a central hub for each of our Kamps, serving each ministry area and supporting daily operations. If you’re pursuing a career in business administration, Kanakuk provides daily opportunities to equip you with the skills necessary to oversee and support daily operations, customer service, and clerical task management.
Physical Education / Outdoor Recreation
If you’re pursuing a career in Physical Education or Outdoor Recreation, Kanakuk is the place for you! Our top-notch athletic and recreation facilities feature professional-grade equipment, and a longtime, professional staff that will train and equip you to facilitate programs that grow Kampers’ confidence and skills while experiencing the thrill of a summer at Kanakuk.
Culinary Arts
Our professional Food Services Team serves thousands of Kampers and staff each day while developing friendships, skills, and techniques used in a culinary arts career. With onsite training in Servsafe Practices and daily opportunities to implement ideas that bless others, this opportunity is unlike any other!
Media
Our Media Team imerses themselves in the fun of Kamp each day, showing parents the nonstop fun their kids are experiencing at Kamp through social media, photography, and videography. Utilizing professional-grade equipment and thorough training, our team is equipped to be the “Eyes of Kamp” while enjoying a daily front-row seat to all the fun Kanakuk is known for.

Overnight Kamps
Since 1926 we’ve welcomed over 500,000 Kampers to our family of overnight Kamps in Branson and Lampe, MO for the life-changing experience that can only be found at Summer Camp.
Family Kamp
Our resort-quality Family Kamp welcomes hundreds of Kampers from 0-100 each Summer. You’ll have the opportunity to serve Kampers of all ages as they experience a life-changing family vacation in the Ozarks.
KampOut!
Our day camp experience travels across the country, bringing the fun, excitement, and life-changing adventure of Kanakuk to kids and communities each summer.
